Technology & Communications Coordinator
Chicago Sinai is a Reform Jewish congregation dedicated to inclusivity, social justice, spiritual development, and life-long learning. As the first Reformed Synagogue in Chicago, they have always embraced the call to action to repair the world and welcome all to share worship, connection, and community. Within her role, Emma maximized Sinia's brand visibility; she has managed information in their database, developed their website, strategized multiple channels of communication, generated new and exciting marketing collateral, and assisted with event planning.

Social Media Marketing Specialist
High Minded Events is passionate about creating extraordinary and immersive experiences that combine the world of high-end events with the wonders of cannabis. As a leading experiential event planner, they specialize in curating unique, cannabis-infused events that leave a lasting impression on their guests. During her time with High Minded, Emma managed their social media and produced content to execute marketing initiatives. Moreover, she monitored the online presence of the company’s brand and implemented promotion tactics.
HIGHWOOD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Graphic Design & Public Relations Intern
The Highwood Chamber of Commerce's mission is to advocate for local businesses and overcome community challenges through event planning and media management. As an intern, Emma designed and coordinated the printing of event material. Through printed marketing, the Chamber could advertise annual events and campaigns around the North Shore area. Her application of graphic design, web design, and social media management allowed their audience to become expansive and heavily engaged through a plethora of target-specific events.

At the University of Iowa, the Social Media Marketing course paired Emma with a local business. She assisted the owner with understanding technological tools to increase their business's social media presence. Since Becky has received and followed Emma's social media plan, she has gained over 10,000 follows across all social media platforms!
REFUGEE AND IMMIGRANT ASSOCIATION
Nonprofit Organization Intern
Accessibility to information can be limited for immigrants in America. At this internship, Emma designed a monthly publication for the Refugee & Immigrant Association, a nonprofit organization. Designing graphics and a print publication were geared towards providing eastern Iowa immigrants with information regarding Covid-19. Additionally, Emma wrote every article for the print, which each was later translated to French, Arabic, and Swahili.
